Islamic Education Course – Preparatory Stage

The Islamic Education Course for the Preparatory Stage on the Basaer Educational Platform is designed to deepen students’ understanding of Islamic teachings in a structured, thoughtful, and age-appropriate manner. The course addresses the intellectual and emotional development of preparatory-stage students, particularly those studying in international schools and non-Arabic learning environments.

The course focuses on strengthening students’ understanding of the core principles of Islamic belief (Aqidah) through reasoning, reflection, and meaningful discussion. Students explore key concepts of faith, such as belief in Allah, Prophets, divine books, and accountability, in a way that encourages awareness, conviction, and personal responsibility rather than rote memorization.

It also provides a comprehensive understanding of Islamic acts of worship and daily practices, including prayer, fasting, zakah, purity, and ethical conduct. Emphasis is placed on understanding the wisdom behind worship and applying Islamic values practically in daily life at school, at home, and within the wider community.

Students study selected stories of the Prophets and key events from the life of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) with a deeper analytical approach that highlights lessons, values, and real-life applications. The course further develops Islamic morals and character building, such as honesty, respect, patience, cooperation, responsibility, and respect for diversity.

The curriculum is delivered through interactive lessons, educational videos, discussion-based activities, assignments, and periodic assessments, encouraging critical thinking and active participation. The platform provides progress tracking tools and detailed performance reports for parents to support continuous improvement and effective follow-up.

The course is available in three languages (Arabic, English, and French), ensuring clarity of understanding and enabling students to engage confidently with Islamic concepts in their primary language within a safe, motivating, and modern digital learning environment.
