Islamic Education Course – Secondary Stage

The Islamic Education Course for the Secondary Stage on the Basaer Educational Platform is designed to provide students with a deeper, more analytical understanding of Islamic teachings that aligns with their intellectual maturity and critical thinking skills. The course is especially suitable for secondary students in international schools and non-Arabic learning environments.

The course focuses on an in-depth study of the foundations of Islamic belief (Aqidah), encouraging reflection, reasoning, and evidence-based understanding. Students explore key theological concepts, contemporary faith-related questions, and the relevance of Islamic belief in modern life, helping them build a confident and well-informed Islamic identity.

It also covers Islamic worship, jurisprudence basics, and ethical responsibilities, including prayer, fasting, zakah, personal conduct, and social obligations. Emphasis is placed on understanding objectives (Maqasid), wisdom, and practical application of Islamic rulings in real-life situations faced by adolescents.

The course strongly emphasizes Islamic ethics and character development, such as integrity, accountability, respect, self-discipline, and positive contribution to society.
